JobLink Career Centers
The vision of the JobLink is to improve North Carolina’s workforce and strengthen our state’s economy by developing a system of JobLink Career Centers that offers labor market information, provides access to career training and job placement services, and serves as the connection between businesses and qualified workers.
At a JobLink Center you can access services to help you find a job, keep your current job, or change careers altogether.
All under one roof.
Businesses can take advantage of their JobLink as well through help with recruitment and pre-screening of applicants, mass distribution of job listings via the internet, access to a database of potential workers, use of an interview room and meeting facilities, training to enhance skills of current employees, on-the-job training hiring incentives, resources, and referrals
While all JobLink Centers offer – free computer access, career guidance, resume preparation, help with job search, job market information, training classes and workshops, training and education information and how to pay for it, unemployment insurance claims, and veterans’ services – each is unique and many offer other types of assistance and guidance in addition to these core services.
Each county within the High Country Workforce Development Board’s region claims a JobLink Center as an important community member. Please click below on a county to find the JobLink closest to you and learn about what JobLink can do for you!
